Rebranding and web redesign - Case Study

Design Central UK are a luxury interiors events company, based in Cheshire who run exceptional events across the UK. We recently completed their re branding and web redesign project for them. Their main aim is to attract Luxury Interiors brands to exhibit at their events and also to attract interior designers, hotel specifiers and luxury retailers.


Now with more events, loads of new exhibitors and exciting seminar series with celebrity speakers - Design Central UK had plenty to shout about.


Their old website was in need of some TLC and an upgrade, here are a few more business aims they had on their wish list:

  1. Refresh the look and feel

  2. Appeal to larger brands

  3. Excite and engage their audiences

  4. Set apart from their competitors

  5. Promote all 3 regional events


Here's how we did it!


Refresh the look and feel

Their first website, which we designed 4 years ago had the main aim of raising Design Central’s online profile, we focused on building their brand awareness in the luxury interiors market. Having successfully achieved this over four years whilst also surviving COVID when many other events companies folded, our aim now is to help Design Central build and expand on our previous success. With their Director, Cath McCubbin's strong design eye, we agreed on a colour palette that maintained a nod to the previous strong purple by introducing a more subtle aubergine shade. We also exchanged the more corporate dark navy for a more relaxing and calming muted green, a colour likely to appeal to a trained interiors eye.

Appeal to larger brands

What’s important to the larger brands? To be able to showcase their luxury brands effectively. This is when we introduced the idea of a luxury events guide. This will give high-end interior designers the perfect opportunity to showcase their latest collections and new product launches. Plus our new Visitor Guide offers exclusive advertising opportunities for Design Central exhibitors. All guides available from their Resource Library

Exciting, enticing events

For visitors - Download your own event guide to ensure you squeeze every last opportunity from your event visit. Talk Space North West sponsored by Sofa.com , helps us learn more from leading Interiors experts. Enhance your well being, looking after yourself and investing in yourself and your well being will ensure you perform at your very best. For Interior Designers their hands are their tools, so we ensure you look after yourself by offering hand massages with Temple Spa. For exhibitors - New focus on marketing efforts between shows. Now, as well as promoting your products across our social media channels, you also have the chance to promote your products in our blog and newsletter.


Different to other events

The biggest way we make a difference, is we travel to you. You don’t need to pay extortionate train fares or book overnight accommodation, everything you need is under one roof with free parking. Our new and exciting venues, offer a creative space for both exhibitors and visitors. We only select the very best venues to act as the backdrop to our world class luxury brands.
