Introducing my new Power Hour: Practical Website Advice When You Need It Most

Not every business needs a brand-new website.

Sometimes, you’ve already built something that reflects you well — but it’s just not performing the way you’d hoped.

That’s the situation that Janine McManus, WeBeam Therapeutic Coaching, based in London, came to me with earlier this month.

She’d created her own website, and to her credit, it genuinely reflected her vivacious personality and unique style. It felt like her. But like many self-built websites, it was struggling to be found on Google.

That’s where my new Power Hour came in.

A Focused Hour of Web Advice That Makes a Real Difference

In just one hour, we worked through the key areas that impact visibility and performance — from ensuring her website was easy to understand and navigate to increasing it’s online visibility with best practice SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation).

We looked at:

  • How her menu bar and pages were structured

  • Where key search terms could be strengthened

  • How to improve clarity for both users and search engines

  • Simple, practical changes she could implement straight away

This wasn’t about overwhelming her with technical jargon. It was about giving clear, actionable advice she could actually use.

By the end of the session, she had a much clearer understanding of what was holding her site back — and more importantly, what to do next.

Why This Approach Works

The Power Hour is designed for business owners who:

  • Have already built their own website

  • Feel it represents them well visually

  • But aren’t seeing the traffic or enquiries they expected

It’s a straightforward, focused session that helps you unlock what’s already there — rather than starting again from scratch.

Sometimes, a few well-placed changes can make a significant difference.

And often, all you need is someone to show you where to look. When you make your initial enquiry, please start by letting me know where you're really struggling. Straight away, I'll assess your website and see where improvements need to be made. I take the time to explain what needs changing, why and how to do this. If you're quite IT savvy, you'll be able to make these changes yourself. If not, there's always the option for me to make these changes for you.

If that sounds familiar, the Power Hour might be exactly what you need.

“The power hour with Helen was exactly what I needed. She had so many helpful ideas and talked me through them all so I understood how to execute them. The email follow-up has been brilliant and Helen has been on hand to help as I work through the changes. Would 100% recommend.”
